Monday i went and saw the movie “Social Network” for my Special Topics class. I was half expecting a movie full of teenie bopper drama when i first heard about the movie before it came out. But fter it came out and people started seeing it, i started hearing the exact opposite. I’m alwats a skeptic for movies these days; i rarely go to the movies to see a movie (mainly because it’s a HUGE rip off, i paid $9.50 monday night!). Unless i am dead sold on the movie being good, funny, scarey, whatever i will more then likely not pay my own money to see it. ther then the fact i had to go see it for class, i found myself looking forward to it based on the reviews on the movie from my peers.
The movie did not disappoint me at all. I enjoyed the film. I think it was very intriguing seeing how it was based on the folks who created facebook and made it to be the HUGE and probably the most epic success of the decade. In my opinion, i feel them two jocks and the dude with the uni-brow deserved what they got; they were naive, they told him all their thoughts, ideas, plans, etc with no intention of a contract when they are BUSINESS MAJORS. I cannot believe how much they got in the settlement, but i give Ruckerberg props for paying them to basically quit bitching and let him continue on becoming richer and richer and more and more successful everyday. So in the long run if you ask me the jocks fought a battle for an amount of money that is now worth a penny to Ruckerberg. Congrats dudes on being stupid, have fun kicking yourself in the ass for the rest of your lifetimes.
